Our Story

The SlopeBox concept was created to be a fun adventure.  It was founded by the owner of Nimble Impressions, a full-service marketing agency in White Bear Lake, MN.  As subscription boxes and gift boxes have evolved, there wasn’t one for this activity. 

We wanted to create a box concept for skiers and snowboarders of any ability level.  We also wanted to come up with gift box that could used by boarders and skiers alike. We recognize that these sports can be quite expensive to participate in and fairly intimidating to begin.   

So, our main focus was to start with a signature box that could be given for any occasion or scenario.  Maybe a gift for someone new just getting into it, or a seasoned pro looking to stoke passion.   

Items in our boxes need to meet at least 1 of 3 criteria:

  1. Skier or snowboarder focused
  2. Broad appeal 
  3. Fun

Many of our items are edible, wearable, consumable, functional, and playful. We tried to imagine many scenarios for which someone would purchase our boxes.  We thought of gift from a friend or loved one to someone new to the sport, someone who loves the activity, a group of friends looking to get primed for a trip, a birthday, or holiday gift.  Also, the possibility that someone buys it for themselves a treat. Hopefully many scenarios. 

We hope that our passion for these sports and the love of the slopes finds a connection with you.
